Utility Services

Today! Search for the energy plan you want and select the date you need the plan to start. You will not lose power during transition to your new plan and your new plan should begin within the next billing cycle or 2. Remember to contact your current provider regarding early termination fees.

Pay as you have been doing. Your bill paying process will not change.

Each utility is different, but a switch typically takes effect in one to two billing cycles.

You should call your local utility company if your power goes out or you have any other service issues. For your reference, you can locate the toll-free number for your local utility company on your monthly bill.

Yes. Although you will see your new supplier listed on your bill as your electricity or gas supplier, your local utility company will continue to fully handle your account. Your local utility will continue to read your meter and make any necessary repairs. you will still call your utility company for all your servicing needs.

No, your electricity or gas service will not be interrupted and will continue to be delivered by your utility company. 

You might be wondering what’s the difference between all these plans and what sets them apart from each other. Here’s a short, simple guide:

Fixed Plans: A fixed rate has the same rate for a fixed amount of time. These plans typically fall in the 12, 24, or 36 month time frame. Longer terms have been more common. This is for individual that likes to keep their bills predictable and steady.

Flat Plans: Much like fixed plans, Flat offers predictability but the difference is prices will be highly dependent for each households energy usage. This is for the individual that is very careful about their energy usage and has a good
understanding about what they need in terms of energy.

Renewable Plans: These plans provide energy from renewable sources that might include wind turbines or solar panel farms. This is for the individual that wants peace of mind about where their energy is coming from.

No problem! You can cancel within 3 business days from the time you receive your Terms of Service agreement.

Becoming a customer

Once you complete the enrollment process online, you’ll get a confirmation email containing your contract number, plan details and other info about your service with your new supplier. You will also be receiving a welcome kit including terms of service.

Yes. You always have the right to choose another electrical or gas supplier in the future. If you want to stop receiving power from your supplier all you have to do is contact your customer service team at support@energydeals.com or call us at 1-888-763-4143 to review terms and conditions.

When your contract expires, you can renew by logging into your supplier’s portal or calling us at 888-763-4143 to review your options.  Or you can do nothing, and you’ll automatically be switched over to a variable rate.
